Sizdeh Bedar which nowadays is also called Ruz-e Tabi'at (Nature Day), is the 13th day of the month Farvardin (the month that Noruz starts March 21st) in the ancient Persian calendar and it was the first day of agricultural activity in ancient Persia. On this day Iranians go out (Bedar means going out) to green areas (parks, farms, riversides, etc.) to enjoy the day with their families.
