Iranian climber Alipour comes 3rd in IFSC World Cup
Reza Alipour finished in third place in the IFSC Speed and Bouldering World Cup on Saturday. The Iranian climber defeated Russian Stanislav Kokorin to come third in men’s Speed competition. He clocked 6.02 s in Haiyang, China. Chinese strongman Qixin Zhong took the gold medal with a time of 5.79 after defeating Danyil Boldyrev from Ukraine. Overall 138 athletes from 26 countries and regions are attending the annual event. They are competing in speed, boulder, and lead events in the 3-day event.
