The Iranian national football team has earned a win against Iraq in a friendly to finish its preparations for the AFC Asian Cup in Australia. Iran beat Iraq 1-0 on Sunday in Sydney in a match closely watched by AFC elite as the team is viewed one the main contenders to win the tournament.
