Iran earthquake sparks tremors in Sharjah
ABU DHABI Mild tremors were felt in Sharjah and other Northern Emirates of the country on Monday night following a strong earthquake of 6.5 magnitude on Richter scale jolted South of Iran. But no damage of property or any other losses were reported. According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology in the Capital, Sharjah residents living in high-rise buildings felt tremors at 10.42pm (UAE time) on Monday.
