Zeta is now a Category 1 hurricane, prompting tropical storm and hurricane watches from Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle ahead of a Wednesday landfall. As of 11 p.m. Monday, Zeta is moving toward the northwest near 13 mph with maximum sustained winds near 80 mph with higher gusts, according to the hurricane center.
