UN Atomic Agency Chief to Visit Iran
The Agency Seeks to Know More About Past Nuclear Work/ The head of the United Nations' atomic agency Yukiya Amano will visit Iran for meetings on Aug. 17 as the agency seeks to make headway on discussions with Tehran over its past nuclear work, the International Atomic Energy Agency said on Friday. Iran has a deadline of Aug. 25 to deliver further information on two aspects of its past nuclear work, which the West suspects was aimed at developing nuclear weapons. Tehran denies that.
