Turkish FM visits Iran over regional issues
TEHRAN, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will visit on Wednesday for talks on bilateral and regional issues, Iran Daily reported. During his one-day stay in the capital Tehran, Cavusoglu is scheduled to meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his counterpart Mohammad-Javad Zarif. The visit by Cavusoglu comes as Turkey is engaged in major military campaigns in the northwestern n city of Afrin against U.S.-backed Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG).
