Three people intending to join IS detained at Iranian border
Three people have been detained in the West Azerbaijan province in north-west of Iran while crossing the border, Iranian Border Guards commander Brigadier General Qassem Rezaei said. He said they were intending to enter Iraq’s territory and join the ‘Islamic State’ terrorist organization, Iran’s Fars News agency reported. Rezaei didn’t specify the names and citizenship of the detained people and the country from which they have arrived. He said explosives were found on the detainees and seized during the inspection.
