State TV says 464 Iran pilgrims dead in Saudi hajj disaster
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — The website of Iran's state television is reporting that the Iranian death toll from the Saudi hajj disaster has risen to 464 pilgrims killed. Thursday's report saw the death toll rise dramatically — almost doubling — from the previously reported death toll of 239. It wasn't immediately clear how this would affect the overall death toll in the disaster.
