Shooting leaves 3 dead, 4 injured in New Mexico
A shooting at a house party in New Mexico has left three people dead and four others injured, authorities say. The incident happened on Sunday morning in the city of Hobbs, which is located in Lea County, in the southeast corner of the state near the Texas border. Khalil Carter, 18, of Hobbs; Kristal Avena, 24, of Hobbs, and Lamar Lee Kane Jr., 22, of Washington, D.C. were found dead, while four others aged 20-23 were taken to hospitals for treatment, police said.
