Shark attacks a snorkeler in the Florida Keys, sheriff’s office says
An Atlanta resident’s encounter with a bull shark in the Keys resulted in a shoulder injury severe enough for airlifting to Ryder Trauma Center, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said. Andrew Eddy, 30, was doing some Sunday morning snorkeling with family at Sombrero Key Lighthouse near Marathon. “Witnesses stated Eddy was attacked almost immediately after entering the water,” MCSO said.
