Schools closed in Tehran due to air pollution
TEHRAN, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Kindergartens, schools and high schools in Iran's capital Tehran remained closed for a second consecutive day on Tuesday due to heavy air pollution. Tehran Province's Air Pollution Exigency Committee decided in a meeting to keep kindergartens, primary schools and high schools shut. The air pollution in Tehran, with over 12 million population, is more than three times the level considered safe.
