Presidents of Russia, Turkey, Iran Meet on Syria
The leaders of Russia, Iran and Turkey have promised to increase efforts to end unrest in Syria. Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Ankara on Wednesday. A joint statement by the three countries said they wanted to “speed up their efforts to ensure calm on the ground” in Syria.
