Oil Resumes Slide on Iran Talks, UN Resolution on Syria
oil futures were lower in Asian trading hours Friday after United Nations Security Council permanent members agreed on a resolution to disarm Syria of its chemical weapons and talks between the U.S. and Iran showed progress. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, light, sweet crude futures for delivery in November traded at $102.60 a barrel at 0658 GMT, down $0.43 in the Globex electronic session.
