CAIRO — A Nobel Peace laureate is demanding that Iran release three opposition leaders who have been confined to house arrest for nearly a year. Shirin Ebadi calls on “all freedom-loving people across the globe” to work for release of the three — Zahra Rahnavard, Mir Hossein Mousavi, and Mehdi Karroubi. Rahnavard is Mousavi’s wife./ The three were arrested in February 2011 after they came out in support of the popular uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.
