'No Iran military presence in Venezuela'
A senior US general has refuted a recent Pentagon report claiming that Iran has established a military presence in Venezuela. The commander of the US Southern Command, General Douglas Fraser, said Iran is bolstering its relations with Venezuela but has no military presence in the South American country. "We see a growing Iranian engagement with Venezuela," AFP quoted Fraser as saying on Tuesday.
