Multiple strong earthquakes hit western Iran
TEHRAN, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Several strong quakes have shaken western Iran in the past two hours following the 5.6-Richter scale earthquake that jolted Soomar city in western Kermanshah province on Thursday, Seismological Center reported. Two after-shakes of 5.4-magnitude and one 5-magnitude quake shook Soomar on Thursday. Besides, an after-shake of 5.4-magnitude jolted Zarneh region in Iran's Ilam province.
