Iranians start preparing for Yalda night celebrations in Tehran. Yalda night, (Shab-e-Yalda) is a traditional Iranian celebration of the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. This Perisan winter event is commemorated on or around December 20 or 21 each year.
