Iranian Media: Two Killed In Protests In Southwestern Iran
Two people have been killed in protests in the southwest Iranian town of Izeh, according to the semiofficial ILNA news agency. ILNA quoted Hedayat Allah Khademi, a local member of parliament, as saying on January 1 that the two were shot dead during antigovernment protests at night on December 31.
