Iranian diplomat says he'll seek asylum in Finland
HELSINKI – An Iranian diplomat who quit his job at his country's embassy in Finland says he will apply for political asylum there. Hossein Alizadeh told reporters Monday he left his job as the embassy's No. 2 because he could not accept the "fraud" presidential election in 2009. Street protests following the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad led to numerous arrests.
