Iranian Ashtiani's stoning verdict may be abolished: judiciary official
TEHRAN, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Iran's East Azerbaijan judiciary chief said Sunday that the stoning verdict of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani might be abolished, the semi-official Fars news agency reported. Asked that if the stoning verdict of Ashtiani could be canceled, Malek Ajdar Sharifi told Fars that "every thing is possible," implying that verdict might be abolished.
