Iran stoning woman son wants execution stayed
The son of an Iranian woman who has been sentenced to said on Saturday that he wants her execution to be stayed but added that his mother was guilty of murdering his father. "My mother has been sentenced to stoning ... I want her death sentence to be dropped. This is my request," said Sajjad Qaderzadeh. Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani has been sentenced for death by stoning, a verdict that has triggered an outcry in the West. Qaderzadeh, however, said that his mother was "guilty" of murdering his father.
