Iran refinery blast caused by gas leak

An explosion at an Iranian oil refinery on Tuesday during a visit by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was caused by a gas leak, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported. Ahmadinejad was not hurt by the explosion or the fire at the refinery in Abadan, south-western Iran and appeared on live television soon afterwards giving a scheduled speech.
