Iran ready to supply aid to quake victims in Japan
Tehran, March 11, IRNA - Head of Iran Red Crescent Society (IRCS) voiced the institute's readiness to supply aid to the victims of earthquake in northeastern Japan. Talking to IRNA, Abulhassan Faqih added that IRCS is prepared to provide the victims with pharmaceuticals, sanitary materials and food supplies. "We have also announced our readiness to the World Red Cross and Japan's Red Crescent Society," he said. A massive earthquake has hit northeast of Japan, triggering a tsunami that has caused extensive damage on March 11.
