Iran president welcomed in Afghanistan
Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was welcomed Wednesday by his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai in the country’s Presidential palace. The welcoming ceremony was held while the national anthems of the two countries were played in the presence of the two presidents and their delegations. Ahmadinejad in his visit to Kabul is to confer with Karzai on strategic cooperation and sign a bilateral agreement on the issue.
