Iran official denies fatal clash at funeral
An Iranian security official denied opposition reports of a fatal clash between mourners and security forces at the funeral of a prominent dissident on Wednesday, the students news agency ISNA reported. Alireza Janeh, head of security matters at the Tehran governor's office, said there were no clashes and that Haleh Sahabi, daughter of the deceased veteran dissident Ezatollah Sahabi, had died of heart problems exacerbated by stress and hot weather at his funeral.
