Iran inaugurates ME's biggest gas storage facility
The Shoorijeh gas storage facility officially came on stream on Sept.7 in Iran's northeastern province of Razavi Khorasan. Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdaz Zanganeh also attended the inauguration ceremony, Iran's IRNA News Agency reported on September 7. The Shoorijeh gas storage facility has the capacity to store 4.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Iran will store extracted gas from the joint gas fields, especially the giant South Pars field, in the facility. Iran will inject 10 million cubic meters of gas to the facility in summer. ...
