Iran hangs murderer, rapist: IRNA
TEHRAN, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Iran hanged a murderer-rapist in public in Karaj city on Monday, the official IRNA news agency reported. The convicted 25-year-old man, identified as Omid Bargh, had raped and killed ten women in Karaj and in one of the northern cities of the country in 2008, the report said. In the preliminary investigations, the murderer said his motivation of doing the crimes was "hatred towards and revenge from women", IRNA said.
