Iran finishes 4th in Slovenian basketball tourney
TEHRAN, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Iran finished fourth in the Slovenian basketball tourney, Tasnim news agency reported on Sunday. The Iranian team lost to hosts Slovenia, Lithuania and Brazil in the four-team tournament held on August 21-23. Iran's participation in the competitions was part of its buildup to the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup to be played in Spain from Aug. 30-Sept. 14.
