India, Iran hold foreign office consultations
NEW DELHI, July 16 (Xinhua) -- India and Iran held their 15th round of foreign office consultations in New Delhi on Monday. The Indian side was led by Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale, while Iranian delegation was led by visiting Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi. The meeting assumed significance even as it took place ahead of the first set of U.S.' sanctions on Iran, kicking in on Aug. 6.
