Health Minister Says Ebola Could Enter Iran
Iranian Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi said on October 23 that the deadly Ebola virus is likely to enter Iran. Hashemi said no case of Ebola has been observed in Iran so far. He said a special laboratory has been equipped for emergency screening. The health minister also said Iran started taking necessary measures to fight the disease six months ago.
