Freed American female hiker arrives in Muscat from Iran
MUSCAT (AFP) – American hiker Sarah Shourd, who was released by Iran after more than 13 months in detention, arrived in Muscat on Tuesday, an airport official said. Shourd's mother Nora, her uncle, and the US ambassador to Oman Richard Schmierer were at the airport to meet the freed hiker, who arrived aboard a special flight, an Omani official said.
