Fate of 3 trapped Iranian miners still unknown
TEHRAN – Fate of three miners who were trapped in a mine in Kerman Province last week is still unknown. On Tuesday, Hejdak coalmine in Ravar caved in and four miners were trapped. One body was taken out from a depth of 600 meters beneath the earth on Wednesday. There is little chance that the other three are still alive as the depth of the mine, lack of air circulation and a possible escape of gas have deteriorated the situation.
