Families welcome US hiker's release, want others freed
WASHINGTON (AFP) – Families and friends of three US hikers held at a Tehran jail for over a year welcomed Tuesday's release of Sarah Shourd but urged Iran to release her two companions. "We are profoundly grateful for the release of Sarah Shourd!," families and friends of the hikers said on their Twitter and Facebook pages.
