Crashed Iran Drone 'Homegrown'
An Iranian official says a drone that recently crashed in the country’s southwest was homegrown. Shush Governor Reza Nejati said the drone was on a regular assignment when it crashed on November 20. Initial reports suggested that the drone that crashed near the city of Shush was foreign. Nejati was quoted by Iranian media on November 22 as saying that the Iranian drone crashed because of technical failure. He said remaining parts of the drone were transferred from the site.
