Chevrolet Releases Power Ratings for 2019 Silverado 1500 Gas Engines
in January at the Detroit auto show, the brand has kept mum on many of the model line’s powertrain details. Not anymore. Starting things off is the tried-and-true 4.3-liter V-6. A carryover from the current truck, the pushrod engine once again makes 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque and comes mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
