California governor plans to veto environmental rules bill
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Saturday he will buck Democratic legislative leaders by vetoing legislation aimed at stopping the Trump administration from weakening oversight of longstanding federal environmental laws in California.
