Ahmadinejad close to a landslide victory
Partial results show that Iran's incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is close to winning the elections in a landslide victory, gaining 65.96 percent of the votes. According to Press TV's correspondent at the Election Commission Headquarters, Amir Mehdi Kazemi, the latest statistics were announced by the Iranian electoral officials. The results are based on 68 percent of the votes that have been counted so far.
