Ahmadinejad angers much of parliament
TEHRAN, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- A decision by Iranian President to nominate diplomats to the region violates the letter of the law, lawmakers said. Ahmadinejad in August appointed four special envoys to the Middle East, Caspian region, Asia and Afghanistan. A letter signed by 122 members of the 290-seat parliament condemned the move as a violation of the law, the Emirati newspaper The National reports.
