300 Iranians detained in Iraq
Iraq has in the past two weeks arrested 300 Iranian nationals, who illegally crossed borders with that country to take part in a religious ceremony called Arba’een, Tasnim agency quoted Saeed Ohadi, head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, as saying Nov. 27. He said Iranian citizens were arrested by Iraqi security forces, as they entered the country without visas. “All the detained Iranian nationals have been handed over to security forces of the Islamic Republic,” noted Ohadi. In the last two weeks, 1,200,000 Iranians visited Iraq. ...
