Iran inaugurates major highways
ISFAHAN – Iran's first double-decker highway and the Qazvin-Rasht freeway were officially inaugurated on Monday. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attended the inaugural ceremonies. The double-decker highway, named Imam Khomeini, cost over 720 billion rials (around $72 million) and was built in 28 months in the city of Isfahan, IRNA news agency reported.
