Time coming for sanctions against Iran, says Merkel
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Monday the time has come to impose new sanctions on Iran over its disputed nuclear activity. "I have made clear that we are entering a phase where there should be sanctions against Iran," Merkel told a joint news conference with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri.
