UAE hits Houthi targets in Yemen with air strikes, buries soldiers
Warplanes from the United Arab Emirates struck Houthi targets across Yemen, state news agency WAM said on Saturday, a day after 60 soldiers from a Saudi-led coalition, mostly Emiratis, were killed in an attack on their base in central Yemen. Apart from 45 Emiratis and five Bahrainis, Saudi state-run Al Ekhbariya TV reported on Saturday that 10 Saudi soldiers were also killed in the attack in Marib on Friday, quoting Brigadier-General Ahmed al-Asiri, the spokesman of the coalition.
