Toronto Iranian film festival makes debut on Friday
TEHRAN – The first edition of the Cine-Iran Festival of Toronto opened yesterday in the Canadian city with the aim of bringing together the most highly acclaimed Iranian films of the year. A lineup composed of “Death of Fish” directed by Seyyed Ruhollah Hejazi, “I Am Diego Maradona” by Bahram Tavakkoli, “Night Shift” by Niki Karimi and “Confessions of My Dangerous Mind” by Hooman Seyyedi are scheduled to be screened at the three-day festival.
