Tehran Symphony Orchestra opens Fajr music festival with “Neynava”
TEHRAN – The Tehran Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestro Ali Rahbari opened the 31st Fajr International Music Festival with a performance of Hossein Alizadeh’s 1983 hit “Neynava” on Wednesday night. Ney (reed flute) virtuosos Siamak Jahangiri and Hossein Khoshchehreh joined the orchestra for the concert held at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall.
