Iranian parliament gives confidence vote for roads and urban development minister
Iranian MPs gave their vote in favor of Roads and Urban Development Minister Abbas Akhoundi at the end of an open session on Oct. 6 for his impeachment. Akhoundi received 175 votes in support, meanwhile 72 MPs voted for his dismissal and five abstentions, which means the lawmakers were convinced by the minister’s responses, Iran ’s State IRINN TV reported.
