Iran Denies Link To Alleged Terror Plot In Kenya
Iran has denied any links to two detained Kenyan nationals who were allegedly planning to stage a terrorist attack against western targets in Nairobi. The Iranian embassy in Nairobi said in a November 30 statement that the two Kenyans had no links with Iran's intelligence or security apparatus. Kenyan police said on November 28 that the two suspects had confessed to spying for the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps' elite Quds unit.
