Iran confiscates 30 horses, mules carrying weapons
TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency is reporting that the country’s border guards have confiscated 30 horses and mules that were carrying weapons and ammunition. The Monday report quotes the border guards’ chief, Gen. Qassim Rezai, as saying the unaccompanied animals and the consignment were confiscated in the northwest of the country. He did not elaborate.
