Earthquake in western Iran leaves 27 injured
An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale injured 27 in Iran’s western province of Lorestan, authorities said. Reza Aryaee, a provincial official with disaster management organization, has said that 25 were immediately discharged after treatment but two have been hospitalized, local media outlets reported. He further added that these people mostly got injured when they rushed to leave their houses in Boroujerd county. The tremor has shaken the county seven times since yesterday and it has damaged several residential units.
